Notes about Abraham van ELDEREN

Abraham van ELDEREN, gest. te Dordrecht 3 Nov. 1637, volgde in 1621 Raph. Allendorp op als conrector der latijnsche school aldaar, toen staande onder het rectoraat van Ger. Bor, en sinds onder dat van Is. Beeckman, voor wien hij in 1630 een boodschap aan Descartes overbracht. Hij overleed aan eene te Dordrecht heerschende pestepidemie.
