Na de dood van zijn ouders erfde Willem zijn ouderlijk huis genaamd "De Culut" gelegen aan de Heij te Venray. (zie RA 3834-1).
Op 7 en 8 november 1758 laten Gerit Rongen en Raep van Boxmeer arrest leggen op deze erfgoederen (zie RA 3857).
Op 15 maart 1759 is Willem niet meer in staat de lopende schulden te voldoen, en biedt daarom zijn boerderij, bestaande uit het huis, schuur en schob, met 20morgen bouwland en 12 morgen weideland, openbaar te koop aan.
Op 4 april 1759 wordt de bouwhof verkocht aan Manus Jacobs en zijn vrouw Elisabeth Hendrix voor de som van 70 gulden (zie RA 3837-2).
Op 16 februarie 1792 wordt de bouwhof wederom verkocht, nu door de kinderen van Hermanus Jacobs, voor de som van 600 gulde Cleefs aan Jan Michels en zijn vrouw Helena Peters (zie RA 3839-1).
In het huis is nu nog een houten balk te vinden waarin uitgesneden staat " + 1799 J.M. + L.P. + " (Jan Michels en Lenie Peters).
Willem woonde later met zijn gezin waarschijnlijk in Venray aan de "Heuvel.
