  • (Notities) : vanaf 10.07.1638 werden de markevergaderingen van de marke Notter gehouden op het Wolterinkserve. Berent en zijn stiefbroer Esse Tijsseling hebben meer dan een jaar in gijzeling gezeten in het Duitse Reinberck na een schermutseling tussen de huurtroepen uit Duitsland, schout Helmich, schippers uit Enter en burgers van Rijssen. De soldaten werden aangevallen door naar huis kerend kermisvolk, waarbij soldaten het onderspit dolven en n.a.v. daarvan wraak zochten door een tweetal Rijssenaren gevangen te nemen en af te voeren naar Rheinberck. Onderweg namen ze ook nog twee Notterse boeren mee, die toevallig hun pad kruisten: Hendrik Wolterink en zijn stiefzoon Esken Tijsseling. Hendrik, al op leeftijd mocht naar huis, maar zoon Berent moest zijn plaats innemen. In april 1632 zaten ze nog steeds gevangen. Na veel geharrewar over en weer komen ze na bijna een jaar vrij, in april 1632 (bron: Hendrik Kolhoop).
