Floris kwam op 13 april 1950 aan in Melbourne. Zijn vrouw Wilhelmina en dochter Elisabeth vertrokken op 19 juli 1950 uit Rotterdam met de "Sibajak" en kwamen op 23 augustus 1950 in Melbourne aan.
