Notes about Arie Ariens GROEN

Arij vertrok op 17-06-1791 met VOC-schip "Houtlust" vanuit Goeree naar Indië. De Houtlust was een schip van 880 ton, gebouwd in Delft in 1785 en voer voor de kamer Rotterdam. Arij was kwartiermeester en kapitein was Kornelis van Deventer. Het schip kwam op 19-10-1791 aan in Kaap de Goede Hoop en vertrok daar weer op 09-11-1791. Arij overleed op 13-12-1791 op de Houtlust, die op 10-02-1792 aankwam in Batavia,
