Leendert Joosten Hokke, eerder wedr. van Cornelia Gijsberts van Vliet, wonend te Geervliet, voor de ene helft, Joost Leendertsz Hokke te Geervliet en Jacob Leendertsz Hokke onder Vierpolders, kinderen van voornoemden voor de andere helft, verkopen aan Adriaan Hoogendijk, burgemeester van Geerlviet, huis en erf in de Nieuwstraat, cohiernr 32, voor f 450. (Streekarchief Voorne-Putten en Rozenburg Stad Geervliet Regesten transportregisters toegang 032 inv.nr. 1273 08-08-1769).
Reijnier Gijsbertsz van Vliet, Jacob Leendertsz gehuwd met Aagje Gijsberts van Vliet, mede namens hun zwagers Daniel Willemsz van Vlissingen, in huwelijk hebbende Neeltje Gijsberts van Vliet, en Pieter Jansz Kroes, in huwelijk hebbende Jefje Gijsberts van Vliet, allen kinderen van wijlen Gijsbert van Vliet, verkopen aan Leendert Joosten Hokke 5/6 deel in een huis en erf aan de Nieuwstraat (bel. ten z de Nieuwstraat, ten o Pieter Verweel, ten n de stadssingel, ten w Johannes Pijnakel). Koper is gehuwd met Cornelia Gijsberts van Vliet, aan wie al 1/6 deel toekomt. Prijs f 100. Voldaan in 1778.(Streekarchief Voorne-Putten en Rozenburg Stad Geervliet Regesten transportregisters toegang 032 inv.nr. 1027 26-09-1734).
Pieter Jacobsz Bouwman te Rockanje verkoopt aan Pieter Huijge Verwee te Geervliet, een huis, schuur en erf aan het eind van Nieuwstraat op nr 35 (bel. ten z de straat, ten o de Achterweg, ten n de Korte Singel, ten w Leendert Joosten Hokke) voor f 155. (Streekarchief Voorne-Putten en Rozenburg Stad Geervliet Regesten transportregisters, toegang 032 inv.nr. 1023 01-08-1734).
Bij een grote brand in Geervliet op 29-05-1743 brandde het huis aan de Nieuwstraat af. In 1743 werden inzamelingen gehouden voor de slachtoffers van deze brand. (Streekarchief Voorne-Putten en Rozenburg Stad Geervliet Bijzondere onderwerpen Houden van inzamelingen inv.nr. 828 1743).
Onder de op 18 juni 1747 aan de landsoverheid opgegeven 68 weerbare mannen van Geervliet in verband met de inval van de Fransen tijdens de Oostenrijkse successieoorlog vinden wij Leendert Hocke en zijn oudste zoon Joost Hokke. Alle manschappen te bewapenen met een snaphaan en bajonet, kruit, lood en vuurstenen.
