Cornelis Pietersz Vermaet, nu schepen van Portugael, 51 jr., verklaart op verzoek van Cornelis Jansz de Raidt, coopman, dat hij in 1627 schepen van Portugael was, en dat in de zomer van dat jaar Adriaen Woutersz Reusel een huis, erf en boomgaardjes verkocht aan De Raidt. Hem werd verzocht i.v.m. afwezigheid van de schout, als stedehouder deze transactie goed te keuren, wat hij niet heeft gedaan omdat hij geen opdracht heeft hem bij zijn afwezigheid te vervangen.
