Op 28-10-1683 compareerden Hendrick Pietersz. Winter, bouwman won. te Strijen, en Arij Leendertsz. Grol, won. alhier. Zij hadden een geschil over een paard dat Winter aan Grol had geleend. Het geschil was zo hoog opgelopen dat Winter Grol had gedagvaard. De zaak werd ’gerenvoijeerd’ en Arij Grol moest de onkosten en leges betalen alsmede 50 gld. voor het paard.
