He is married to Eliza Jane Marshall.
They got married on February 22, 1849 at Sheshequin Township, Bradford County, PA by the Rev. S. J. Gibson, he was 26 years old.

1. Abraham occupied a portion of the original Gore farm. He wasa captain of local militia and member of the Order of Odd Fellows. He was one of the sources for the History of Sheshequin published in 1902.

"Abraham GORE, the oldest native of Sheshequin, died Oct. 15, at his home that town on the farm where he was born, in his 84th year.
He was a son of Abraham B. and Sally (Kennedy) GORE and was born July 31, 1822. His grandfather, Samuel GORE, and great uncle,
Judge Obadiah Gore, both Revolutionary soldiers and members of the historic Gore family, came to Sheshequin in 1785, where they
remined until the close of their lives. Our subject spent his entire life on the farm which was settled by his grandfather in 1785. He was
one of the oldest Odd Fellows in the county, having been a member since 1847. Besides three sons, Wallace of Corning, Albert of Athens
and Joseph of Sheshequin, he is survived by one brother, Comfort C. GORE and a sister, Mrs Polly Chaffer of Le Raysville. Funeral
services was held Tuesday afternoon with interment in the Sheshequin Cemetery."
