E: George van Arkel, geboren op 19 juli 1550, overleden op 19 februari 1590, 39 jaar oud, zoon van Walraven van Arkel (Heer) en Catharina van Gelre (XVI-ag). Verwierf op 23 Juny 1556 van zijn broer Otto V de heerlijkheid Amersoyen. Legde in 1569 daarvoor de leeneed af. Hij trad op 14 Apr. 1568 op als hulder voor zijn nichtje Maria van Arkel, toen zij met Heukelom werd beleend. In Febr. 1590 werd het kasteel Ammerzoden door een brand geteister. George overleed aan de gevolgen van de verwondingen, welke hij opliep tijdens de brand. George is getrouwd in het jaar 1579, op 29-jarige leeftijd met Anna van Lockhorst, overleden op 17 november 1592, dochter van Vincent van Lockhorst en Anna van Aerschot van Schoonhoven. Erfde van haar vader vele bezittingen te Heemstede, Sliedrecht, Alkmaar, Oud- en Nieuw-Engeland bij Poortugaal en in stad en sticht Utrecht. Uit dit huwelijk:

Heer van Heuckelom, Amelroy, Wel en Neerynen, op een Riddercedule van Nijmegen in 1570, 1576, 1578, 1586. Omgekomen in een brand op Amelroy.
Wapen: Zijn kwartieren: Arkel, Gelder; Broeckhuijsen, Narwijck. Hij voerde in zilver 2 roode beurtelings gekruiste dwarbalken.

Volgens Gemosadel: geboren op 19 juli 1550, gestorven op 19 februari 1590 - kasteel Ammerzoden.
Hij verwierf op 23 juni 1556 van zijn broeder Otto V de heerlijkheis Ammerzoyen en legde in 1569 daarvoor de leeneed af. Hij trad op 14 apr. 1568 op als hulder voor zijn nichtje Maria van Arkel, toen zij met Heukelom werd beleend. In febr. 1590 werd het kasteel Ammerzoden door een brand geteisterd. George stierf aan de opgelopen verwondingen.
