Notes about Conrad Seese

Reference 1b refers to Conrad's second wife as Sally Custer Hamel (a
widow) and they had 8 children:  Philip, Jacob, Barbara, John, David,
Polly, Melchoir III, and Conrad, Jr. of last marriage.

Reference 4 indicates that Conrad first married Susannah Reed with
whom he had 10 children:  Philip E., Barbara, Jacob, Mary "Polly",
David, John, Melchoir, Margaret A., Jessie, Samuel.  "To his second
wife Catherine" a child Conrad 1849.  It also states that Susannah was
living in 1847 when her father's estate was settled; died before 1850
census was taken.  Conrad's wife in 1850 census is given as Catherine
born about 1808.
