BP1934 (Corbet) identifies this Thomas as grandfather of Sir Richard Corbet who settled at Moreton and reports that "Twelfth in descent from this Sir Richard was" Sir Vincent of Moreton Corbet, living in 1606. We provide details of that descent from BEB1844 and the web sites referred to below (see Main Sources below). However, there is some inconsistency between BP1934/BEB1844 and those (and other) web sites which show the Wattlesborough line descending from the above-mentioned William of Wattlesborough & Caus through his son Simon Corbet of Pontesbury. Note that a Simon Corbet is mentioned below as a possible father of Robert Corbet of Caus. This raises the possibilities either that Thomas Corbet of Wattlesborough was the same person as Simon Corbet of Pontesbury or that they were brothers/cousins who have been confused.
