Aan haar schonk Maria van Loon, echtgenote van graaf Jan IV van Nassau op 1 dec. 1478 een rentebrief, groot 23 rijnse guldens jaarlijks, gevestigd op goederen te Zonzeel en op de Zwartenberg onder Etten. In deze brief staat duidelijk: Catharina, dochter van Johan bastaard van Nassau. Haar erfenis werd in 1pr. 1524 verdeeld onder de vier kinderen van haar broeder.
