342. Hugues de Ponty, 1571-1572,

docteur en droit (68) , second fils de Godefroid, échevin et d'Hélène Dauven, fut échevin du Feix en 1570 et de Namur de 1571 à 1572 ; il obtint, en héritage, les biens paternels de Melroy et mourut le 19 août 1578 ; sa pierre tombale, en l'église Notre-Dame, portait les quartier : Ponty, Delvaux, Dauvin, Chevalier, Favelli, Han, Dupuis, Salmier. Hugues avait épousé Marguerite, fille de Jean Favelly (69) , échevin, et en eut deux enfants : Hugues (70) qui épousa Marie de La Deuse, et Marie qui épousa, le 26 mai 1598, Philippe de Wasserwas.

(70) Hugues testa le 12 septembre 1617 et fut enterré à Temploux ; il laissa cinq enfants : Nicolas, époux d'Elisabeth, file de Nicolas Petit, seigneur de Lisogne (Annuaire) ; Barbe, épouse : 1° de François de Bouloigne, 2° de Christophe Botton, capitaine, 3° de Guillaume Brabant, cornette (Transports de Namur, 1645-47, f° 7v°. Testament 24 mai 1661)
