7. Olivier-François de Brant, 1643-1
F de Louis et de Catherine de Waha, servit pendant
dix-sept ans en Allemagne, y obtint le grade de lieutenant-
colonel, et fut, à deux reprises, premier échevin de Namur,
conseiller du Souverain Bailliage, et lieutenant-bailli des
bois, et fut tué par les Français, le 13 août 1658.
Olivier descendait de Jean Brant, tîls naturel de Jean III
de Brabant et fut poursuivi par le procureur général parce
qu'il portait sans brisure les armes du Brabant.
Nous lui connaissons deux l'rères : Jean et Gérard,
décédés vers 1638.
Sa femme, Marie Brunaes, lui avait donné six enfants,
entre autres Louis-François, seigneur de Sorée qui épousa,
le 11 juin 1650, Elisabeth-Théodore, fille d'Alexis d'Anthines,
seigneur de Sorée et de Jeanne de Losson 3.
