Thomas Jollie was born at Crofton Hall, County Stafford, England about 1617 and died in VA in 1693.  He was an adherent of King Charles I of England and accompanied the king to his execution.  After the execution, Thomas lost all his property and privileges and emigrated to VA about 1651.
