    MRS. HAMILTON, DEACONESS AT EMMANUEL CHURCH, DIES
    Mrs. Elizabeth Gordon Hamilton, 89, of 841 Union Street, a life deaconess at Emmanuel Baptist Church and active in many phases of church work for more than 50 years, died Saturday morning at Ellis Hospital  shortly after she was admitted. She was the wife of Sidney A. Hamilton, who for many years operated Hamilton's food store at 841 Union Street. . . .She was a native of Sloansville. . . .Besides her husband, survivors are a son, Robert Gordon Hamilton, Niskayuna; a granddaughter, Miss Gail Hamilton; and a grandson, Lawrence Hamilton.
