Notes about Rhoda M. Anderson

"Someone kindly forwarded the information below about Rhoda M. Shaver, wife of Wm. Perry Shaver, both from Dallastownship near Shavertown in Luzerne county. I was wondering if anyone in your group knows why Rhoda was committed to the Danville State Insane Asylum from 1880 until her death, or, for that matter, anything about her other than her birth and death?
" Apparently her youngest son, Ziba Rice Shaver went to live with a woman named Catherine Starner when he was only about 3 or 4 years of age, and his dad went to live with his eldest sister Mary.
"I've been working on a book on the life of Rhoda's grandson, Richard S. Shaver, born in Berwick, PA 1907. Much of Ziba's life is a blank, and I have had a time of it finding anything substantial on him.
"Thanks for any clues on any of this!
