Notes about Ottillia (Adelia Delia) (Ottillia (Adelia, Delia)) Provost

It seems likely that Margaret Catherine Provost Hutchinson was Ottillia's aunt, rather than her mother.  Ottillia's father was supposedly John Provost, and presumably the baby Ottillia was adopted or fostered by her aunt because of inability of the parents to raise the child.  Alternately, since Margaret Catherine Provost Hutchinson ultimately fostered two more girls, she was given the children to raise since she had no children of her own.
