Notes about Edwin C. Knight

Edwin Knight was the publisher and editor of the St. Johnsville Enterprise.  It is not clear why Maria Porter and Edwin Knight were both living at Port Arthur, Ontario, at the time of their marriage. After Maria died, Edwin seems to have returned to Port Arthur, Ontario, Canada, where at least two of his sisters lived.  His two daughters both married Canadians and their descendants are Canadians. The two sons both died without issue so there are no American descendants of Edwin and Maria Porter Knight today.
