This Indenture made the first day of January in the year of our lord one thousand eight
hundred and four. Between Jacob Vosseller of the County of Montgomery and State of New
York of the first part, and Abraham and Sophia Montany of Schoharie Town and County and
State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars to him in hand paid by the said
party of the second part, the receipt where of is hereby confessed and acknowledged. Hath
granted, bargained, sold remised, released, aliened and conformed, and by these presents doth
grant, bargain, sell, remise, release, alien, and affirm unto the said party of the second part, and to
their heirs and assigns forever All that piece parcel or tract of land situated lying and being in the
town and County of Schoharie being part of Lot number one in Stone heap patten and is
described by number two by the following boundary, Viz: beginning at the south west corner of
number one; and runs south forty eight degrees and thirty minutes west seventeen chains and
forty six links to a stake, thence south forty one degrees and twenty minutes and sixty six chains
to the Schoharie line, thence along the same north five degrees east to lot number one, thence
north Forty one degrees and twenty minutes west forty nine chains and seventy five links to the
place of beginning. Containing One hundred acres of land, be the same more or less of the above
tract or parcel of land there is only the one half or fifty acres conveyed and sold to the said
Abraham and Sophia Montanye and their heirs which is the west part of said lot, and the other
half of fifty acres of the above lot is granted and sold unto John and Lanah Teeple and their heirs.
Together with all and singular the hereditament and appurtenances there unto belonging or in any
wise appertaining and the revision and revisions, remainder and remainders, rents issues and
profits thereof and all the estate, right, title, interest, claim or Demand whatsoever of the said
party of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the
said hereditaments and appurtenances. To have and to hold the said one half or fifty acres of the
above mentioned premises to the said parties of the second part their heirs and assigns to the sole
and only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said parties of the second part their heirs and
assigns forever, and the said party of the first part for his heirs Do covenant, grant, bargain,
promise and agree to and with the said parties of the second part their heirs and assigns that the
said party of the first part, and his heirs, the above bargained premises against all and every
person and persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part of the above mentioned
and described premisses shall and will forever warrant and defend. In witness whereof the said
party of the first part hath herewith laid his hand and seal the day and year above written.

Schoharie County ¶ I Peter Swart one of the Judges of the Court of Common pleas for the said
County, Do Certify that on the eleventh day of May one thousand eight hundred and Eleven
before me cam Jacob Vosseller a person to me known, and who acknowledged that he executed
the within conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. Having examined the same, I
find therein no Erazures or interlineations do allow the same to be recorded
