Notes about Hermanus Decker

Source: Royden Woodward Vosburgh, editor, Minisink Valley Reformed Dutch Church Records,  (Collections of the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, Vol V, New York, 1913.), Page 281. Records of the Reformed Dutch Church at Machackemeck, Town of Deerpark, Orange County, New York.

"April 14, 1745.  In the presence of the same Consistory and Pieter van Aken, elder of Walpeck, upon the exhibition of satisfactory certificates as members of our Church were received: Hermanus Decker and his wife Antje Keyser."

It looks more and more likely that Hermanus Decker and his wife migrated south to Mechlenburg County, Virginia, about 1750 with other members of the family.  Certainly they vanished from the records in New York state after 1745.
