    In the name of God, Amen, I Thomas Montanye of the County of Butler and State of Ohio, being of the advanced age of Seventy-five years and being of sound and disposing mind & memory, and knowing death is the common lot of all manhind, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament:
    I Will that after my decease that my body be buried near the grave of my wife; I Will that all my just debts and burial expenses be paid out of moneys belonging to my Estate; I will and bequeath to my Son James Montanye the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars to be paid out of my estate; I will and bequeath to my Son Abraham Montanye the sumof Six Hundred Dollars to be paid out of my Estate; I Will and Bequeath to my daughter Ellen Van Hise, wife of Oakey Van Hise, the sum of One Thousand Dollars to be paid out of my estate; I Will and bequeath to my Son Silas Montanye the sum of One thousand Dollars to be paid out of my estate; I having heretofore assisted my son John Montanye with a considerable portion of my estate, I herefore Will and direct that he shall have no more of my estate, but that in place thereof, I Will and Bequeath to Amanda, daughter of my said son John Montanye by Sarah Ernst, formerly Sarah Dalrymple, now Sarah Steward, be paid two hundred Dollars of my estate;  I Will and Bequeath to my granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Shaff, the sum of One Hundred Dollars to be paid out of my estate; I will and bequeath to my Grand Son George Wonnels the sum of One Hundred Dollars;  I Will and Bequeath to my Grandson William Wonnels the sum of One Hundred Dollars;  I will and bequeath to my Grand-Daughter Mary Ellen Wonnels the sum of One Hundred Dollars; I hereby appoint my friend and neighbor Jared Parrish executor of this my last and TEstament, hereby revoling any and all other last Wills and Testaments made by me and and ratifying and confirming this to be my last will and testament;
