  6. Obituary, [Jul 1953 clipping]
    OBIT:  Reuben L Shaver, of 36 Lake St, Dallas, died yesterday morning at Laurytown Hospital after an illness. He was 83.  Born at Lehman, Mr Shaver had resided in Dallas the last 42 years. He was employed 20 years as a foreman of American Stores painters.  Mr Shaver was a membr of Lehman Methodist Church and George M Dallas Masnic Lodge, Dallas. He received the 50-year pin of the lodge a year ago.
    Surviving are two sons, Claude, Dallas and Dr Kenneth L Shaver, Florence NJ, seven grandchildren; two brothers, Bruce, Idetown and Clarence, Harveys Lake; also a sister Mrs Verne Clarke, Wyoming. Private services will be held Sat at 2 at the Alfred D Bronson Funeral Home, Sweet Valley, Rev Joseph Sproule will officiate.  Interment in Kocher Cemetery.
