Notes about Harvey Montany Dunbar

It is possible that Harvey Montany is not Maria Foote's son but an adopted son, possibly the youngest of her grandfather's large family who were left destitute when her grandfather, Elijah Montanye, died. He is named as Harvey Montany is two different censuses, but he was certainly raised by Maria and John Dunbar, and he was eventually known as Harvey M. Dunbar.
