    Cassandra L. (Cryder) Grant, age 64, died on Monday, Jan. 30, 2006 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.
    She was loved and well known during her 33 years of dedicated service as a librarian with the Green Free Library in Wellsboro, where she initiated a story hour for local children.
    Cassandra was born May 7, 1941 in Berwick, the daughter of William and Irene Nell (Holcomb) Cryder.
    Cassandra was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, reading and genealogy.
    She is survived by a son, Gregory Grant; two daughters and a son-in-law, Melanie and Sam Bellinger, Jennifer Mengee, all of Wellsboro; mother, Irene Nell (Holcomb) Cryder of Berwick; eight grandchildren; a long time friend, Harry Lord of Wellsboro; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Gwyneth and Richard Shelter, Merrily Hileman, all of Berwick, Molly and Wayne Kemmerer of Muncy; several nieces and nephews.
    A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, in the United Methodist Church, Wellsboro, with the Rev. Mark Shover officiating.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Green Free Library, 134 Main St., Wellsboro, PA 16901.
    Arrangements are in care of the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield.
