    Elwood B Patton, 84, of Noxen, died Fri at Wilkes Barre General Hospital. Born in Noxen, he was the son of the late Bruce & Minnie (Traver) Patton. He graduated from the Beaumont High School. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was employed by the Armour Leather Co, Noxen, for 26 yearsand owned & operated a dairy farm in Noxen prior to retiring. He was a member of the Noxen United Methodist Church where he served as a trustee. He also was a member of the Tunkhannock Area, Beaumont, and Dallas School Boards. He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Space. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Madeline Spencer; sons, Elwood P Patton, Tunkhannock & David B Patton, Independence KY; daughter, Mary M House, Chenango Forks NY; four grandchildren and four gr-grandchildren. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tues from
    Curtis Swanson Funeral Home, Pikes Creek with Rev. Susan Rogge, pastor of Noxen United Methodist Church. Interment in Orcutt Cem, Noxen.
