    Harvey F. Patton, 83, of Noxen, passed away, Friday, August 24, 2007, at his home.  Born in Noxen, on November 15, 1923, he was a son of the late Perry and Anna Boice Patton.  Harvey owned and operated a dairy farm in Noxen most of his life, retiring 21 years ago.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Leah Race, who died in 1997; brothers, Arnold and Glenn Patton.  He is survived by
    daughters, Charlotte Hopfer and her husband, David and Beverly Weiss and her husband, John, all of Noxen, and Dolores Swantek and her husband, Allan, of Dallas; son, Perry Patton and his wife, Marlene, of Noxen; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.  A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. Mark Wandel, pastor of the Noxen Baptist Bible Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Noxen. There will be no calling hours.  The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Noxen Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 237, Noxen, PA 18636.
