    DYMOND, MARVIN E. Marvin E. Dymond, age 87, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Hilda Mae Dymond, died surrounded by his loving family on November 16, 2011. Marvin was born in West Nanticoke, PA on April 12, 1924 to the late Ervin and Frances Elizabeth Ottensman Dymond. Mr. Dymond was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Navy. After returning from the war, he worked in production at Raybestos for 30 years. He was a lifelong Milford resident and a resident of Naples, FL for 20 years. He enjoyed his family and was an avid softball player and bowler. Survivors include his children: Susan Lapham, Richard (Ann) Dymond, and Sheree (Martyn) Doggett, all of Milford, a brother; Raymond Dymond, three sisters; Eunice Gearhart, Dorothy Dykins and Mary VanVarick, seven grandchildren; David and Jason (Karen) Dymond, Jeffrey (Emily) and Greg (Joanna) Lapham and Gretchen (Nelson) Camp, Zack (Chontal) Doggett, and Will Doggett, seven great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren "on the way." Mr. Dymond was pre-deceased by his brother, Robert Dymond and his brother-in-law Thomas Lapham. Friends may call on Monday November 21, from 9AM-11AM in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. A funeral service will be held at 11AM in the funeral home followed by a burial with full military honors in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Milford Hospital Foundation, Hospice Suite or the Milford Senior Center's Meals On Wheels program in Mr. Dymond's memory.
