Mary Carver Lewis was born on 20 May 1816 in Luzerne Co. Pennsylvania.  She was the third daughter and fourth child of Isaac and Lydia Brace Carver, and grand- daughter of Samuel and Jane Montayne Carver.  On 17 Jan 1835 she married Robert Stoddard Lewis.  This is the genealogy of Mary and Robert’s family.
