    Betty Tomcho   Jan. 10, 2013
    Betty Moss Tomcho, 75, a resident of Guardian Elder Care, Newport Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, surrounded by her six loving children. Born in 1937 in Hunlock Creek, Betty was a daughter of the late Alvin and Mildred Keefe Moss. She lived in Wanamie for 26 years then moved to Oplinger Towers, Nanticoke. There she made many friends and enjoyed all activities and did volunteer work. Betty was the most amazing mother who loved all her six children unconditionally. She managed to keep all of the family close together. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Joel Tomcho; brothers, Alvin, David, Robert; sisters, Ada Mantush, Martha Scally; and grandson John J. Buchanan. Surviving are daughters, Cynthia Lieby and husband Robert, Deborah Buchanan and husband Kenneth, Diane Budurka and husband David; sons, John Jr. Tomcho and wife Beverly, Barry Tomcho and wife Bonnie, Daniel Tomcho and wife Tanya; grandchildren Paul and Curtis Tomcho, Christopher and Brad Buchanan, Amanda and David Budurka Jr., Iris, Casey, Shawn McGovern, Kristin and Zachery Tomcho; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and loving companion, Tony. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. from the Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke. Family and friends may call Saturday from 2 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
