New York Reformed Dutch Church
He is married to Anna Spier.
They got married on July 1, 1760 at New Jersey, he was 31 years old.
Child(ren):
ISAAC MONTANYE, son of Johannes Montanye and his wife Susannah Bussing, was baptized on 7 September 1729 NYRDC. ; His baptismal sponsors were Isaac Bussing and Annetje Bussing, j.d.
Isaac married Annatje Spier on 1 July 1760 in New Jersey. Annatje, daughter of Johannes Spier and his second wife Geertruy Roome, was baptized on 13 December 1741 NYRDC. Her baptismal sponsors were Isaac Bokee and his wife Breyge Roome. Annatje's mother Geertruy Roome was married three times: she was the widow of Hendrick Meyer when she married Johannes Spier in 1739. After Johannes Spier died on 2 July 1746 at Constable's Hook, Geertruy married a third time. Her third husband was John Paulison (or Poulse) of Acquackanonk, Essex County, New Jersey.
Isaac and Anna seem to have lived in New York City for most of their lives, but they went to New Jersey during the years of the Revolutionary War. They were witnesses for the baptism of Geertruy, daughter of Barent Spier, at Acquackanonk in 1772 and were apparently living there (presumably with Anna's mother, now widowed for the third time) for at least some of the time between 1776 and 1784.
In New York City, they lived on Cedar Street. Isaac was a mason. He died on 26 April 1814 in New York City, according to Riker.
