    Betty June Harris, 81, of Sarasota, FL passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 at Gulfwinds ALF surrounded by her family. Betty (nee' Clapp) was born in Owosso, MI on December 4, 1930. She married Glenn E. Harris on March 4, 1950 and the family moved to Sarasota, FL in 1958. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn on April 17, 1995.
    Betty was a wonderful mother who cared for her family deeply. She is survived by 4 children: 2 daughters, Ellen Roberts (Jeff) of Sarasota, FL and Sue Robinson (Mark) of Sarasota, FL; 2 sons, Dusty Harris (Valerie) of Barryville, NY and Don Harris (Vicki) of North Port, FL; 2 sisters, Toby Limbaugh of Owosso, MI and Beverly Miner of Owosso, MI. Betty was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  The family would like to express their gratitude to Betty's caregivers at Gulfwinds ALF who were fantastic and took such good care of her.  Per Betty's wishes, memorial contributions may be made to any charity of your choice.  National Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements. Private services will be planned in the near future.
