    FRANK MONTANYE, CANAJOHARIE, DIES
    CANAJOHARIE — Frank  Montanye, 78, Rural Grove, died early Saturday morning in Amsterdam Hospltal after an illness of four weeks.  He was born In the Town of
    Charleston, Feb. 7, 1876, the son of Jesse and Mary Dingman Montanye. He had lived in the Town of Charleston nearly all his life, and had been engaged in farming in the area.  He is survived by three sons, L e l a n d , Sharon Center; Roy,
    Charleston Four Comers; Paul, Rural Grove; two daughters, Mrs. Lefa Monfanye, Canajoharie, and Mrs. Grace Suitor, Scotia; 14 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren, and one nephew.  Mr. Montanye was a member of the Charleston F o u r Corners Church. The funeral will be at the Lenz funeral home, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Albert M. Brockway, pastor of the Canajoharie Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Charleston Four Corners
    Cemetery.
