Edmund Lucy's second wife, Joan, daughter of Sir Richard Ludlow, had remarried after Edmund's death, but asked to be buried by Edmund's side in her will of 1514.

Edmund Lucy's grave was to be covered with a marble stone 7 ft. by 4 ft., with the arms and effigies of himself and wife. Edmund's wife, Joan Hungerford, by her will, dated 1514, desired to be buried by his side, and left 40s. to the house of Thelsford.
