"Married- On Tuesday, July 15, at Hay Farm, Spotsylvania County, by Rev. E. C. McGuire, Mathew F. Maury, of the U.S. Navy, to Miss Ann H. Herndon, eldest daughter of the late Dabney Herndon, of Fredericksburg."
