Graaf Jan Nicolaas Floris van Nassau-LaLecq, Heer van Ouwerkerk (1773).
Hij wordt geboren op 4 augustus 1709 te Luik als zoon van Graaf Maurits Lodewijk II van Nassau-LaLecq (1670-1740) en Elisabeth Wilhelmina van Nassau-Odijk (1671-1729).
Jan Nicolaas Floris trouwt voor de eerste keer op 19 september 1736 te Vught met Cornelia d' Hangest Genlis d' Ivoy (1714-1744).
Jan Nicolaas Floris trouwt voor de tweede keer op 17 juni 0749 te Sloten met Maria Anna Testas (1715-1795).
Jan Nicolaas Floris sterft op 10 april 1782 te Utrecht.
Op zijn 25e is hij Vaandrig , in 1732 is hij Luitenant en in 1738 verblijft hij in het garnizoen te Doornik. Rond 1740 verlaat hij militaire dienst. Op tweede kerstdag 1740 overlijdt zijn vader met grote schulden. Hierdoor worden al zijn vaders bezittingen in 1741 verkocht.
De tweede vrouw van Jan Nicolaas Floris is een tante van Jean Testas die in 1766 met Josina Geertruida van Nassau-LaLecq huwt. In 1750 krijgt Jan Nicolaas Floris zitting in het College van Geëligeerden te Utrecht., dit college van negen leden is het eerste Lid van de Staten van Utrecht. Voorts wordt hij raad ter admaraliteit van Friesland. Hij wordt in 1753 door de Staten van Utrecht benoemd tot buitengewoon raadsheer bij het Hof van Utrecht.. Vanaf 1755 tot 1779 wordt hij door de staten , telkens voor een periode van drie jaar, benoemd tot schout te Utrecht. Ook is hij Kanunnik te Munster. Jan Nicolaas Floris wordt bijgezet in het familiegraf te Ouderkerk, net als zijn twee echtgenotes.
