XVII) CORGNOL Louis Ier, écuyer, seigneur de Tessé (La Forêt de Tessé), Vivier-Estrain, Châtillon sur Dive, Mirbazin, Miserit (Brux - Vienne).
Il fit hommage de Tessé, au seigneur de Raix, près de Ruffec, le 26 mars 1454 (Clairambault).
Il rendit aveu de Mirbazin en 1432, 1454, 1461, au seigneur de Couhé, et de Miserit, le 15 juin 1443, au château de Civray (Archives Nationales P. 520, 19).
D'après le nobiliaire du Limousin, sa succession fut partagée le 10 juin 1483 entre 6 enfants, mais il en avait eu d'autres qui étaient sans doute décédés à cette époque.
Il épousa vers 1430, Marguerite Janvre de la Bouchetière, fille de Jean V, écuyer, seigneur de la Bouchetière, et de Marguerite Chenin.
