Contesté : Pierre Driout oublie de le mentionner ; en revanche, à la génération suivante, il dissocie, à tort nous semble-t-il, Jean en deux personnages en fonction de chacune des épouses. Il s'appuie sur J.P Laurent, dans le bulletin de la société des Antiquaires de l'Ouest, 1973,4è série,T XII,p 91et sur Héraldique et Généalogie n 160, 3è trimestre 2001, pages 291/292.
Profession : Seigneur de Couhé (86) et Labastide-Murat (46).
Décès : après 8 janvier 1455.
