Mittelalter DE.dir Graf von Arnsberg (1282-1313) ------- - 1313 Sohn des Grafen Gottfried III . von ARNSBERG und der Adelheid von Blieskastel , Tochter und Miterbin von Graf Heinrich Ludwig folgte dem Vater 1282 als Graf von ARNSBERG, erhielt das Gogericht Schnallenberg und wurde dadurch erzbischöflicher Parteigänger im Limburg-Erbkrieg gegen Brabant 1280. Er verlor die Vogtei von Soest, die letzte wichtige Machtposition seines Hauses, gewann unter anderem noch die Freigrafschaft Stockum, verschuldete durch ständige, sinnlose Fehden völlig und geriet in immer größere Abhängigkeit zu Kurköln.
