Page 119, ajoutez, immédiatement avant le n® VI : L'acte de bapléino de François du n® Vil, fils de Pierre IV et de Jacquelle Bon ni n, constate l'exis-tence d'un oncle François Barton, chevalier, capitaine de chevau-légers, lequel fut parrain le 19 avril 1636. C'est donc un fils non mentionné de François Barton du n® V.
Le contrat de mariage de Pierre Barton 111, dans lequel figure son père Barton, chevalier, vicomte de Montbas, fut la première des pièces justifi-catives de la noblesse de celle famille présentées par Jean-François Barton de Montbas, Ssr du dit lieu, brigadier de cavalerie et chevalier de Saint- Louis, et par sa belle-sœur Ixiuise de Brinon, veuve de Jean Barton de Montbas, écuyer, Ss^de Corboil-Ccrf. Par suite, le 17 décembre 1699, ils obtinrent un arrêt de maintenue de noblesse.
