ORLIENS (David van) was 30 jaar 'kapitein ten dienste dezer landen' onder het zeeuwsche regiment, majoor der stad Sluis en ingenieur, geboren 1570, overleden 22 April 1652, begraven onder een arduinsteenen zerk in het koor der St. Janskerk te Sluis, bekapt met wapens en kwartieren. Hij was gehuwd met Catharina Nicolaij, geboren 1587, overleden 6 Mei 1659 en begraven in hetzelfde graf.
