M. Wolters renseigne sur base de Goethals Anne Cymon fa Dominique Cymon x Claire d'Almares, Poplimont dit fa de N x N Almaras, et deuxième femme de Jean van der Laen.

"27 fevrier 1572: La Belle Simone is Anna Simoen alias Cymon de Dycpenstein, dochter van Domingo en Clara Almaras, gehuwd met Filips van der Linden, heer van Marneffe, en na diens dood, 1570, met ridder Jan van den Laar, communemeester van Mechelen" Source DBNL, Kroniek over de troebelen van 1565, Godevaert van Haecht.

Dans Londerzeel 1568-1590" De Spaanse staatsman Antoine Perrenot Granvelle .. de eerste aartsbisschop van Mechelen te worden. Hij maakte zich flink gehaat bij het volk en bij de adel en werd in 1564 van zijn functies ontheven en naar Spanje teruggeroepen. Tussen 1559 en 1564 was hij echter de belangrijkste man in de Nederlanden. ;; Eén van zijn favorietes was juffrouw Anna Seymoen. Deze Anna was namelijk rond 1540 in Antwerpen geboren; ze was de dochter van Dominique Symoen (of Cymon), een handelaar uit Aragon, en van Clara de Almaras. Op 22 augustus 1573 zou ze kasteel Diepensteyn in Steenhuffel van haar moeder Clara en haar tante Maria overnemen. Door mensen die haar kenden werd zij “la belle héritière de Diepensteyn” genoemd”. Tot 1595 mocht deze dame met een verleden zich meesteresse van Diepensteyn noemen."
