Dans l'inventaire des archives des Chambres des Comptes, p 419, Décomptes des Baillis du Pays de Waes : volume n° 14501 : 6comptes dont 1 par Gilles Happart, écuyer, seigneur d'Olmen époux de Marguerite Françoise de Varick, veuve de Jean Fréderic van der Gracht du 17 septembre 1657 au 20 août 1661.

Procès: " Le 11 février 1688: Marguerite Françoise de Varick, dame d'Olmen,Dysthove, Stuyvenbergh, veuve de Gilles Happaerts, échevin d'Anvers Sup. c. Anne d'Itturao(?) Demande d'Obliger la contre partie à rapporter au greffe les sommes levées par elle et provenant des deniers consignée par la Sup. au profit des héritiers du Secrétaire don Juan d'Itturao et de Catherine Stercke sa femme." source Procès de la Cour Féodale de Brabant, t 2, 1434-1794 ref 2622, A. " Margareta Francisca (de Varick ); volgens het testament harer moeder,
moest ze de heerlijkheid Ter-Duyst erven ; maar, zooals wij
hooger zegden, is dit goed vóór het overlijden dier dame ver-
kocht geworden (1). Ze werd vrouw van Olmen, welke heerlijk-
heid zij van Joris Vekemans en Jan Thollinck afkocht (2). Zij
trouwde tweemaal : eerst met Jan-Frederik van der Gracht; la-
ter met Egidius Happaert....

(voetnoot 2) Deze hadden Olmen gekocht den n n Januari 1653, ingevolge den gcrechtelijken verkoop der heerlijkheden Olmen en Bouwel wegens niet-betaling eener som van 12.000 gl. welke Nikolaas van Varick schuldig was aan Sibille van den Berghe, vrouw van Cantecrode, Mortsel, enz., weduwe van Philips de Godines; maar den 11* Augustus van hetzelfde jaar eischte Margareta-Fraucisca van Varick de heerlijkheid van bloedswegen
