"Monsieur,
Soeur Gudule a bien fait partie de notre communauté de l'Abbaye de Jouarre; la raison pour laquelle elle est entrée en Belgique c'est parce que notre communauté a été exilée en Belgique puis en Hollande de 1903 à 1919. En 1918 et 1919 toute la communauté a pu rentrer à Jouarre. Mère Gudule a fait profession perpétuelle le 15 août 1919 et est décédée le
26 juin 1943. Elle est bien enterrée dans notre cimetière de Jouarre. Il n'y a plus parmi nous qu'une seule sœur qui l'ai connue et encore assez peu car elle est entrée toute jeune à Jouarre en 1942. Nous avons peu de souvenirs de Mère Gudule: quelques photos et des images pieuses laissées par elle dans ses livres...Avec nos religieuses amitiés.
