Ami d'Erasme et Thomas More, embassades aupès du Pape Jules II et du Roi de France François I , et de Henri VIII roi d'Engleteree. Fut envoyé en Espagne par Charles Quint, mais étant tombé malade à Bordeaux il y mourut le 26 août 1517.
Le diplôme es droits de Hieronymus Busleyden de l'université de Padoue du 8 février 1503 est à l'université de Louvain. (source IRPA)
