Grand procès concernant le Majorat entre les héritier de Phlippe Norbert van der Meere (+ bruxelles le 28 novembre 1795) ey Joseph Charles van der Meere qui selon les clauses du Majorat devait être l'héritier dans le Grand Majorat crée par Philippe Norbert van der Meere. mais les héritiersde Philippe Norbert selon les nouvelles lois après la révolution (les majorats ne sont plus légale) étaient les enfants de ses deux soeurs dont Eugénie Charlotte de Beeckman et Ferdinand de Beeckman. Le procès dura 25 ans. En 1820 Charles Aimé van der Meere fils de feu Joseph Charles van der Meere reçu finalement les biens du Grand Majorat.
