Jan Melissant, Daniel Hamete, man van Lena Melissant, Jacob Kats, man van Cornelia Melissant en Adriaan Melissant verschijnen voor Cornelis du Sart, notaris van Melissant. Hun ouders hadden op 24 december 1680 een testament op de langstlevende gemaakt, maar na de dood van hun moeder, Neeltje Arens, heeft de vader, Cornelis Janse Melissant het moederlijke erfdeel niet uitgekeerd aan de kinderen. Daarom wordt dat erfdeel, totaal f 1200, uit de boedel van de vader gehaald, waardoor ieder kind f 300 krijgt.

ARA Notarieel archief voor 1843 Melissant, nr. 5792. Cornelis Jansz. Melissant is in juni overleden. De datum van het testament is hiervoor al genoemd. In het testament d.d 10-3-1717 voor notaris Bax te Brielle was bepaald dat Daniël Hamete, man van Lena Melissant alleen in simpele en naakte legitime portie was geïnstitueerd. De andere erfgenamen zijn echter overeengekomen om ondanks de wil van de vader samen te delen. Daardoor krijgt Daniël 1/4 deel van de boedel of wel 1/4 deel van f 2130.40st.14penningenJan Melissant, D

Daniel Hameete is schepen in 1729.

Voor de begrafenis van Lena huurt men het doodskleed voor f 2.
