Hij huwde te Dordrecht 9 Nov 1733 met Hendrika Catharina Stoop, geb. aldaar 14 Nov. 1712, overl. 17 Aug. 1750, dochter van '''fout''' Mr. Abraham en van Adriana van de Graaf. Zij verwekten vier kinderen, waarvan de jongste zoon zeer vroeg overleed.
