Beste Theo,
een poos geleden hebben wij overleg gehad over het gezamenlijke deel van onze stambomen.
Een oud-tante van mij (Pieternella Hendrika Jonker) was getrouwd met Marinus Daniel Moelker en zij hadden een boerderij in Nieuw Vossemeer.
Ik ben een paar keer in mijn jeugd langs geweest op de boerderij bij deze tante Pie en oom Moelker.
Nu mijn vader is overleden in 2011 zijn wij langzamerhand zijn herinneringen aan het opruimen, daarbij kwam pas geleden een brief tevoorschijn die hij schreef in 1944 vanaf de boerderij in Nieuw Vossemeer, waar hij de zomervakantie doorbracht, klaarblijkelijk om aan te sterken, want er was in Rotterdam overal tekort aan.
Ik dacht dat je het wellicht leuk zou vinden deze brief te kunnen lezen en toe te voegen aan je stamboom, want het beschrijft mooi het leven op de boerderij en de tekorten tijdens de oorlog. Ik hoop wel dat je hem kan lezen.

Ik ben nog steeds bezig met mijn stamboom op My Heritage (Jonkerellemeet 08042011) zolang ik het ook kan blijven betalen.
vorig jaar heb ik voor de familie een tour uitgezet langs alle dorpen waar Jonkers gewoond hebben op Schouwen Duiveland.
Vorige week ben ik in Middelburg naar het Zeeuws archief geweest om een paar originele documenten over de familie Jonker te fotograferen. Het was erg leuk om die documenten in mijn handen te houden.
